Position: Network Engineer
Location: Iselin, NJ
Rate: DOE

Job Duties:
• Able to Monitors data network system performance. Performs data network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose performance issues.
• Installing and configuration of hardware and software components.
• Orders equipment, prepares installation specifications, and monitors progress of installation for core and branch network infrastructure.
• Analyzing test data and recommends hardware or software for solutions.
• Testing and evaluation of equipment to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems.
• Need to Establishes network users, user environments, and security for networks being installed.
• Troubleshooting branch cabling and equipment issues.
• Providing users with technical network support.
• Providing second level troubleshooting support resolving Help Desk tickets assigned to the Network Communications Services team.

Experience:
• Minimum 2+ Years experience in software and hardware installation and configuration, network hardware, protocols
• Experience with IT architecture and design.

Skills Required
• Knowledge and experience with routing and switching technology from Juniper and Cisco.
• Knowledge and experience with Juniper and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience with Radware or F5 Application Delivery Controllers (ADC).
• Solid understanding TCP/IP, OSPF, and BGP protocols.
• Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and disciplines quickly.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced team environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Expert with routers, switches, VPN, VOIP, and Cisco.

Education:
• Minimum B.S. in Computer Engineering/Computer Science.
